The conference is concerned with solving various scientific and technical problems of diagnostics of processes and systems based on mathematical and engineering methods (see the DPS call for papers).
The conference creates both an international and national forum of exchange of scientific and technological information and engineering experience in the field of technical diagnosis, which can be placed in a common area of automatic control, systems, measurements and signal processing, and computer networks, using mathematical theories and practical tools of modeling and identification, artificial intelligence and computer science.
The scope of the conference embraces combination of these domains of engineering knowledge for in diagnosis and its applications, including detection, isolation, localization, identification, diagnostics, reconfiguration and control. Special attention is paid to fault-tolerant and self-reconfiguring control systems, which are crucial wherever maintenance or repair cannot be implemented immediately. The conference is also open to new challenges, including medical and industrial diagnosis, computer systems diagnosis and diverse non-industrial applications.

Counting on the disappearance of pandemic obstacles by that time and in order to increase the availability of DPS, we take into account the hybrid mechanism of conference implementation, i.e. the participation of people both directly (on-site, via contact) and on-line (with remote participation and e-presentations or posters).
Therefore, all activities of DPS 2022, including the opening and closing ceremonies, plenary talks and regular sessions, will have a parallel form of virtual meetings.
